Look who just happily bounded through the door of Lily's Sanctuary....RILEY!!!
Our delightfully sweet & healthy, 7-8 year-old male Yellow Lab somehow found himself at an East Bay shelter. We received the call and two of Lily's finest Angels raced over the bridge to bring him home. Of course his first stop was at Fairfax Vet Clinic. He clearly needs to add another 10-lbs to his beautiful frame and is happily doing so! He does have a torn ACL and will be having surgery to repair this once he is settled-in and has gained some of the weight at the Sanctuary.
A dental has been scheduled for him in a few weeks. For those familiar with our beloved Barkley, well, he pretty much sat back and took it all in for awhile. I think he sees he now has some fierce competition on the Delightful/Handsome/Playful categories!! As Riley just arrived on Tuesday, we can't comment on the how he does with dogs/cats/kids, but given his overall happiness, we're guessing he'll get along with just about everybody!! We are so excited to have this boy join Lily's Family!!
