Meet Drake, a beautiful 7-year-old Flat Coated Retriever mix (we think), who is a super special boy. He is friendly and happy and has spent way too much of his life as a back yard dog. He is looking for an active family to call his own who he can also join cuddling on the couch. Drake spent his first week in rescue at Dairydell in Petaluma getting some much needed basic training. He passed with flying colors. He now is crate and house trained, good on a leash and is ever so anxious to please! Drake is about 75% blind but gets around well. He has an appointment with the opthamologist next week and we're hoping he will be a candidate for cataract surgery. This boy is healthy and will make a wonderful addition to your family.
