| "In 2000, we adopted Ariel when she was just one year old. She passed away this past December at the age of 16. As a puppy she was thrown into Clear Lake to drown but was rescued by a boater, who found her swimming for her life. Ariel’s swimming skills paid off. We are forever grateful that she hung in there and eventually came to live with us for 15+ years. She taught us how to have fun, how to relax and how to age gracefully and with dignity and to never give up, even when you can't walk (by yourself). |

We miss our best friend and teacher. We spent many, many hours hiking in the woods, chasing squirrels and birds and playing with our friends. She taught us so much. We love you Ariel and will always miss you."
