Drake • 7-8 year old Flat Coat Retriever mix
After his initial vet exams, Drake spent a week at Dairydell Training get some much needed training. He's friendly, happy, and loves spending time outdoors as much as he loves cuddling with his family. Drake is approximately 75% blind, but is scheduled for cataract surgery on February 15, 2016.

Riley • 7-8 year old Yellow Labrador Retriever
Riley came to us from the Oakland shelter as a stray. He's a happy and rambunctious lab who is super sweet and loves to play ball. He has a torn ACL that will need repair and is also scheduled for dental work in the next few weeks.

Barkley • 3-4 year old Great Dane/German Shepherd mix
Barkley came in severely underweight with serious flea induced mange. His open lesions had caused a painful infection. Thanks to the wonderful team at the Fairfax Veterinary Clinic, Barkley was neutered and his skin issues were immediately addressed.
We had originally thought Barkley was about 7 years old due to his medical issues. His skin issues have since cleared up, and he's getting lots of daily exercise and TLC. We're re-thinking his age to be more in the 3-4 years old range. Our volunteers continue to work with him daily on his training and manners. Barkley is a cheerful and happy boy and will make a wonderful family companion. |
Saint • 9-10 year old Mastiff mix
Dear Saint had surgery to remove several benign tumors, received extensive dental work, and was neutered upon coming to Lily's Legacy. His stitches have been removed and he is recouping nicely in the home of his foster mom.
Thank you to the Human Society of the North Bay for helping Lily's Legacy save this wonderful dog. |
Cody • 12 year old Lab/Great Dane mix
Cody has a chronic dry eye condition due to an imbedded foxtail early in his life. He needs daily eye drops and maintenance. Additionally, he is suffering from a treatable skin condition.

Feral Cat Rescues
Maverick and Stanley were rescued from Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County (Thank you Tina!) as young kittens. We have also recently taken in another feral rescue kitten, named Wolf, and we look forward to getting to know him better as he gets more comfortable at our sanctuary.
Thanks to the hard work and the dedication of our volunteers, our cats roam freely on our sanctuary property. For just $5 per month, you provide maintenance to our cat enclosure. For just $10 per month, you provide food for our cats. |
