FRIDAYS WITH FARADAY - The Book
For those of you who do not follow Lily's social media, Faraday is a dog found in a vineyard by a young couple. After having Faraday vetted, they were told the dog had just 6 months to live, he had Dilated Cardiomyopathy and A-fib. After researching places to care for Faraday, Lily's was approached. Alice said YES... we will take him.
Fast forward, Faraday's condition was confirmed by our vet and he went to the hospice home provided by one of our foster moms, Toni. Toni's great niece & Faraday bonded immediately. Toni's dogs Daisy & Rusty and cats Charlie & Oliver all accepted Faraday into their daily routine. Thus began the weekly social media posting "Fridays With Faraday".
Over the last six months (since October 2019), Faraday's popularity has grown and developed into a following of many thousands of people from as far away as Australia. To honor this dog’s life and to chronicle his journey, a book has been written. It tells from where he came, the condition in which he was found and the adventures he has had over these past months.
The book holds both photos of Faraday and his friends as well as sketches drawn by a very talented artist; Christine Mannella.
